In today's post, we'll talk about the Action genre, specifically about the movie '' The Mercenaries '' Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) is the leader of a group of mercenaries, who carry out any mission as long as it is well paid. Among his usual companions are knife expert Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Bao Thao (Jet Li) and Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), who have shown emotional instability during the missions. One day, Barney and his troupe are hired to overthrow General Garza (David Zayas), dictator of the island of Vilena. Barney and Lee go to the scene and find Sandra (Gisele Itiê), who wants to overthrow the government. But soon they are attacked by the forces of Garza and Monroe (Eric Roberts), an American businessman who finances the local government. Barney and Lee leave Vilena and abandon the mission, but the persistence of Sandra, who wishes to stay to fight for freedom, stirs up Barney's nonexistent principles.
