LGBT Movement
LGBT (or LGBTTT) is the acronym of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transvestite, Transsexual and Transgender, which consist of different types of sexual orientation.
The LGBT acronym is also recognized for being used as the name of a movement that has the purpose of fighting for the rights of homosexuals and especially against Homophobia (the irrepressible aversion, repugnance, fear, hatred, prejudice that some people, or groups LGBT).
Knowing that much of this prejudice is coming pejorative connotations, and mainly by more conservative nuclei of society and religious. Being that, according to these people (homophobic), the participation of homosexuals in LGBT pride stops are exaggerated, unreasonable, especially unnecessary!
In contrast, LGBT people say that the movement creates a space of visibility for the homosexual, who is so marginalized in society with the desire to have the same rights as heterosexuals (such as adoption).
The LGBT Pride Parade comes with the goal of making people aware of diversity, so they do not need to accept more respect for such differences, making it much easier to humiliate, reject, and mistreat LGBT people.
