What is the Gay Healing project?
The project Cura Gay, also known by the names Sexual Reorientation Therapy, Conversion Therapy or Reparative Therapy, consists of the set of techniques that have the objective of extinguishing the homosexuality of an individual.
Such a set of techniques includes psychoanalytic, cognitive and behavioral methods. In addition, clinical and religious treatments are used.
The subject became extremely controversial because it refers to sexual orientation as a disease, since the word CURA implies the elimination of an "evil."
However, since the 1990s, the World Health Organization has ruled out any possibility that the sexual orientation of individuals is related to a disease.
Thus, WHO has determined that homosexuality can be defined as a variation of human sexuality and should not be considered as a disease.
"Homosexuality can not be considered a disease. It should be understood and considered as a variant of sexual function "
So we are left with a doubt in mind: When will this prejudice go, it will be considered a disease?
There is no solution, for what is not a problem.
